Kidderminster St John Baptist
Anglican: St John Baptist. (Kidderminster West Team Ministry)
A very large Victorian town church. The first church on this site was built in 1842/43, of which only the tower and spire remain. In 1892/94 J A Chatwin added a new large nave, north aisle and chancel. In 1902 Chatwin returned to build a new south aisle and apsed south chapel and added the south porch. There is a midweek service on 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesdays at 9.45 following which the church is open until 12noon. (See link to A Church Near You.)

Anglican: Holy Innocents, Foley Park.
Holy Innocents was built in 1937/38 to replace a wooden church of 1888 on the same site on the Stourport Road. It was designed in the Byzantine style by W E Ellery Anderson of Cheltenham.
The church is not usually open outside service times, see A Church Near You, but is often accessible on Wednesdays between 9.30 and 11am. (Ref local information, September 2014.)
