On a very rainy Wednesday in October, we embarked on the second WDHCT church tour, and despite the wet weather, the day was absolutely wonderful, with everyone in high spirits. Our journey took us to five churches, beginning and ending at St. Mary’s in Tenbury Wells. From there, we traveled by coach to visit the churches at Bockleton, Kyre, Rochford, and Eastham, making a stop back in Tenbury Wells for a lunch break. Each church was beautifully decorated for Harvest, adding a warm and festive touch to our visits.

At each stop, members from the local church teams welcomed us with open arms, sharing insights into the mission and ministry of their churches, along with information about recent projects. Their hospitality was truly appreciated and helped us connect more deeply with the unique role each church plays in its community.

A special thank you to Tim, who did a stellar job guiding us through the history and architecture of each church. He brought each building’s story to life with fascinating details—even after being under the weather himself the week before. We’re so grateful for the time and effort he put into this!

The team at Tenbury Wells provided delicious refreshments at both the start and end of our journey, which everyone enjoyed and appreciated.
