Fladbury
Anglican: St John the Baptist
The oldest surviving part of the church is the Norman lower stage of the west tower, which was added to in the 13th century with the top stage added in the 18th century. The nave is 14th century.
The family of Worcester architect, Frederick Preedy, lived in Fladbury and there is much of his work in the church. He added the chancel and vestry in 1864 and completed a major restoration in 1871. Most of the 19th century fittings are designed by him together with 10 stained glass windows, mainly family memorials. The church also contains many excellent medieval, and later, monuments to local families.
