Thank you to everyone who participated in Ride & Stride 2024. Sponsorship money is still being collected, half of which goes to help Historic Churches in need and half to churches nominated by the participants. We hope that all those taking part as sponsored visitors or by opening churches enjoyed the day, and we look forward to next year’s event in September 2025.

St Michael’s, Baddesley Clinton features in an article in a recent copy of the Church Times.   The church has fitted under-pew heating and installed a heat pump (purchased directly from the manufacturer).  They have changed all their light bulbs to LED and changed their electricity tariff to 100 per cent renewable electricity.   “This makes them one of the first churches in the UK to reach net zero.”  For more information about St Michael’s and other eco-friendly buildings in the diocese of Worcester, take a look at the 4th November copy of the Church Times.
